On the production side no problem with your vehicle. At the top...a different story. Your rude receptionist a dealer not interrested to help. Ford credit ..what a bunch of not interrested people. I am not a happy chappy.

when i worked at neave in the late sixtys to late seventies we built good cars and bakkies

I want a job I car work

One team one plan one goal

I would like to know why Ford don't own up to there poor quality automatic bakkies. I bought myself a 3.2 Automatic in Dec 2012 it has been to the agents in Poloknwane for all of its services except for the last two. It now has 180,000km and a major transmission problem. On investigation I have learnt that they did not do the software or any other upgrades and that this failure is common on the 6R80 boxes, with some gearbox specialist doing up to 30 torque converters and transmissions a month. If that is not a factory fault then I don't know what is. I have owened Ford's since 2000 and was reasonably happy till my last two. I will definitely think twice before I buy or recommend a Ford to anyone. I would like to know why Ford don't acknowledge their failures. R50,000.00 for a rebuild transmission (R230,000.00) new.
